For those of us who are legal short term rental owners, we STRONGLY encourage you to join as full members. The cost of membership at $297 upfront and $19/mth is extremely modest relative to the investment and time you surely have put into acquiring your legal short term rental property.
Defending the rights of our member owners is both a time consuming and expensive proposition for the Property Rights BC group, and requires tremendous financial resources to procure professionals in legal, and advocacy.
Regardless of what market, if you are a legal short term rental owner anywhere in BC, we implore you to become a full member which will allow the association to better defend against government overreach and restore the intended use of your property. Support the PRABC's legal pursuit by helping reach the fundraising goal of $150,000 by March 1st, 2024.
As of February 20, 2024, the Property Rights Association has garnered the support of more than 190 members, with a majority from Victoria, B.C., where the group was founded. As the association has expanded over the months, we have welcomed new members from various parts of the province.

Certainly, our membership list is strictly confidential and will never be sold or made public. You can participate in group communication as actively or passively as you prefer. We recognize that some individuals prefer to maintain a lower profile, and discretion is of utmost importance to us.

4. If the association proceeds with legal action, does that signify the cessation of all advocacy efforts?
The long-term advocacy and relationship building between municipal, provincial and local associations will continue to be a focus for us regardless of any legal outcome.

Yes there are many reasons non short term rental owners would contribute to this cause:
